Consistent on-time payments create the payment record lenders, banks, and grant reviewers actually look for. Late or reversed payments can be reported too — that is what makes it real credit.
- Step 4Unlock longer terms
Finish a term in good standing and you can be considered for extended terms (next 4 months, or a full 12-month pass) or a referral to a third-party financing partner. Considered — never an automatic approval.
Straight talk: Afterpay installment plans are offered and approved by Afterpay, not by us (U.S. orders generally cap near $2,000, and eligibility is decided at checkout). Business credit reporting is tied to your business entity and EIN — not your personal consumer credit. On-time payments may help build your profile; late, missed, or reversed payments may be reported and can hurt it. Bureau acceptance, scores, and timing are controlled by each bureau, so we can't guarantee a score, tradeline, or funding outcome.
